  TransCanada Scholarships

Hi Mattawa/North Bay Algonquin Leadership and Students,

  I am reaching out to let you know that TransCanada’s scholarship applications are open! As a signature program of our Education & Training community investment focus area, we will be awarding more than $600,000 in scholarships to students across North America in 2018. Please help us spread the word to deserving post-secondary students in your area!

  Please feel free to forward this email to:

  1. High schools (principals, faculty, academic councilors)
  2. Post-secondary institutions (admissions office, finance office)
  3. Friends and family
  4. Your local government official

  TransCanada Community Leaders Scholarship – 100 scholarships X $1,000 - awarded to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their communities through volunteerism, leadership and other activities.

  TransCanada Indigenous Legacy Scholarship – 50 scholarships X $5,000 awarded to Indigenous students who are studying any academic disciplines. Students will be eligible to receive this scholarship year over year, assuming they remain enrolled.

  TransCanada Trades Scholarship – 150 scholarships X $1,000 awarded to students who are studying trades relevant to the energy industry.

  Students can answer five quick questions at TCScholarships.com to see if they pre-qualify to apply. The application window will close at 11:59:59 p.m. EST April 15, 2018.

Payments

The cost of the workshop is $485.00 per participant and is payable by cheque at the door the first day of the event. Payments can be made in advance by credit card or e-transfer.
